MakeIcon is built with Astro and React and runs entirely in your browser. We leverage the power of modern browsers to process everything client-side, ensuring your designs remain private and the tool stays fast.

Our icon library integrates with Iconify, providing access to 8,000+ curated open-source icons from popular collections including Material Design, Font Awesome, and Lucide. All icons are properly licensed under permissive open-source licenses (CC BY 4.0, SIL OFL 1.1, MIT) and free to use in both personal and commercial projects.
